Is there some interesting stuff for history funs in Argentina?

I’m accompanying my boyfriend on his visit to Argentina. I know that this is an attractive country and blah, blah, blah but I can’t say that I’m easily impressed. I don’t want to imply that there is nothing particularly interesting to see in this country, but there is nothing that I find breathtaking. Is there some interesting stuff for history fans there?

Oh dear! I really don’t understand how anybody can say something like this. I mean, Argentina is one of the most attractive tourist destinations of South America and millions of people can’t wait to see it, while those who had the luck of going there are still fascinated with what they saw. And you are saying that there is nothing particularly breathtaking in this country. Ok, if that is what you mean, but you are so wrong. Argentina is all about history and tradition and there is no better place for people interested in history than to go to Argentina.

I really don’t understand if there is no need to bother answering a question like that. You are so pretentious and almost insulting and I’m speechless. As a person who greatly respects the heritage of all countries in the world, I’m even more inclined to respect Argentina because of its rich culture and tradition. Buenos Aires is one those cities which are like a magnet for visitors. I really don’t want to talk you into visiting Argentina. Yes, there are lots of interesting stuff for people who love history, but that is all I’m going to say.
