Jeep safari in Papeete island, Tahiti

Hello everyone! My husband and I have been talking about where we will spend the summer holidays this year. Tahiti seems like an exiting and new option! We have never been there and they say it is just like paradise! I have heard that Papeete island would be a great place to go. I saw that there are some jeep safaris around there. Do you know anything about these?

Are you kidding? I love Tahiti and am not saying that it is not a nice place to go on holiday to. But Papeete is hardly an exotic resort area where you can go on safari - it is more of an urban jungle, and a small one at that. Your safari experience in Papeete would be similar to one in Manchester, let's say!

I think Papeete is quite charming myself, but if you would like to get a bit closer to nature then I would advise you to head across the bay to Moorea instead. I am not sure about jeep safaris, but you will certainly get some lovely views there. Good luck in planning your vacation!
