Long walk on Batukaru Mountain

During our recent trip to Bali, we got sporty and active and did a really long walk on Batukaru Mountain. I didn't plan to do anything of the kind before heading off on the vacation but I am really glad that I did it because it was beautiful and refreshing. Why don't you try it for yourself if you are going to Bali?

I didn't know that there was a mountain on Bali, but that sounds great! Where on Bali is that mountain, and is it difficult to climb the mountain? Any tips on which routes to take and so on would be really great. I am not in great shape, but I am definitely up for a long walk.

Did you walk the mountain all by yourself, or did you have a guide of some kind? I would be rather afraid of getting lost I think, if I had no one there with me who actually knew the area... mountains are always places where you can easily get lost, right?
