Looking for a double room in Ayres Rock

Ayres Rock is my vacation spot for this month and I will be there for one week, ten days tops. I am traveling with a friend and we will be staying in one room, when we find accommodation. Looking for a double room in Ayres Rock. Can you recommend me something or not? Is there something special in regard to accommodation?

As far as I know, there is nothing special about Ayres Rock accommodation, but you never know about these things. One year there isnt and the next there is. I am not sure you will have any accommodation close to Kata Tjuta National Park. I mean you will find something close, but your final destination is Ayres Rock and except 2 kilometers to the top, there is nothing else except level ground around it. The park is 500 km long and I am not sure they include any hotels. Being that it is a National Park after all. But you can always ask Aborigines to give you a place to spend the night, on the rock.
