I would like to spend few days in Mount Revelstoke National Park. I don’t like fancy hotels or chain resorts because they are too crowded and too noisy. On the other hand, I don’t like the idea of sleeping in tent and waking up freezing. I am looking for private accommodation in Revelstoke! Is there anything nice that isn’t tent or famous hotel?

If you are looking for some private accommodation and don’t want to set up a tent, then Noah's Ark Resort is the perfect place for you. It is a sort of natural retreat with the best of both worlds. There are several camping cabins with plenty of amenities like refrigerator, free Internet access, lights, electrical service, heater and water tap, etc.

This really sounds good. I mean, it is like camping without the downside. You don’t have to give up certain comfort, yet you are right there, in touch with nature, far away from the hustle and bustle of overcrowded resorts and famous hotels. And I bet that the price is much lower than the usual hotel or motel too.

It is true. It is a way to have your cake and eat it too. I am also not crazy about famous hotels and resorts but I don’t see myself sleeping in a tent either. I can’t understand what perverted pleasure people find in sleeping on the ground with various insects jumping all over them all night long. Not to mention snakes, scorpions or other “friendly” animals in the vicinity.
