Maine to Quebec trip

I have recently been thinking about going on vacation to Canada. One of the best destinations in Canada is, as far as I can see, Quebec. I would like to visit it very much. However, I am not sure just what is the best way to get from Maine to Quebec. If anyone has any suggestions, that would be great.

Roads between USA and Canada are really good, and usually not too busy this time of the year. You can thus go by car. It will take some time, but if you have never traveled north of Maine, you will enjoy in nice scenic views. On the other hand, if you do not want to waste too much time, you can always go by plane, and from there by car, if you rent it, to some smaller places in Quebec, if you desire to. You can also go by bus, but I really would not recommend anything like that to you. Going by car, or by plane, are the most enjoyable ways to get from one place to the other. So, if you have time, choose former, and if you not, choose the latter option.
