May I book Eurail pass online?

Is it possible to book Eurail pass online? Few friends visited Europe lastr year, and they traveled by train all the time, using the Global Pass. They recommended me to travel that way to, and I am going to listen to their advice  So, is it hard to get it? Is the best solution to book it in advance? I would really like if someone could explain me the procedure?

There are several options available for you, and you can choose the one that suits you the best. If you want to travel throughout whole Europe, global pass is the best option.But there are also so called regional passes, as well as select passes, where you can choose 3 or 4 countries you are going to visit.
