Mugello region, home to some of Tuscany's most traditional villages

If you are one of the many going to see Tuscany this year, make sure that you see the real (traditional) Tuscany as well. This you can find in the Mugello region. It is home to some of Tuscany's most traditional villages and towns. I especially like Marradi. Do let me know if you need any more information.

I have to say that that sounds really nice. Perhaps we will go there. Can we go to some of these places as day trips, or do we need to stay over night? Any suggestions on the itinerary would be great as well. And come to mention it, accommodation tips would also be welcome.
