Nasty surprise for people with return tickets from Jordan

Hi to all. On my way back from Jordan I had I quite bad surprise that had waited me on the airport. All of the passengers got notice that the departure tax out of Jordan will be added to theirs tickets. Value of tax is 20.000JD. I tried to submit a complaint, but they told me that it is already installed in system.

Hello. I had similar bad experience, when I was returning last year from Jordan. I think that it is some kind of taking money from tourist on nice way. I certainly doubt that tax had to be paid. When I returned home and asked in my travel agency, they didnt know what to tell me. They never heard before about that. The strangest thing is that we had to pay that tax to their staff at the airport. I am really not sure what to tell you. Maybe in future that kind of deceit will be highly penalized. Like they said, it isnt their fault. Bye.
