Nice accommodation in Sandy Point Town?

My wife wants to go somewhere in the Caribbean. Since I don’t mind spending two or three weeks in paradise I am doing a bit of research about possible destinations. St. Kitts and Nevis seem interesting and attractive. Is there some nice accommodation in Sandy Point Town? The town seems to be attractive.

I am not sure...I stayed at Basseterre and had wonderful time. I visited Sandy Point Town on several occasions and I must say that I liked the place. It is nice and charming and I regret that I didn’t have enough time to explore it thoroughly. While there, I suggest you visit Brimstone Hill Fortress National Park.

He is right. Brimstone Hill Fortress National Park is a wonderful site, a remnant of town’s glorious past. It is the largest fortress in the Eastern Caribbean that was built by the British Empire. There is another fortification located downhill. Fort Charles was the second big fortress in the colony and Brimstone Hill Fortress was constructed to defend Fort Charles and port of the town.

I also visited few nice villages: Newton Ground, Fig Tree and Half Way Tree. There is also a new La Vallée Golf Course and Development which is under construction and will be finished soon. Still, The Brimstone Hill Fortress made a great impression on me. Don’t miss it. It is open from 9.30am-5.30pm.
