I am going to go to Botswana with the family soon. We have decided that Chobe National Park is something we should not miss out on. It is practically obligatory to go there during a trip to Botswana! I have heard that night driving tours can be particularly exciting. Have any of you done this?

Yes, we went to spot a rare owl, the pels fishing owl, which lives off off eating fish, as you may have guessed. We didn't get to see the owl but still had a great time, and I would do it all again in a jiffy. If you go on the night tour, still go during the day time as well though, as it is really very different.

We were offered the night time safari in Chobe national park as well. My husband really wanted to go, but I bailed out because I don't like sitting around in the dark and cold, waiting for something to happen. In the day, the park is great though Wink. Enjoy your holiday.
