No knowledge of Arabic

Howdy. I plan traveling to Middle East. I am having some doubts considering my trip. The thing is that I have no knowledge of Arabic. I wonder if that will bother me in my communication there. Do you recommend me to learn some basics? I think it wouldnt be easy for me. Id appreciate any help. Thanks.

Hello, traveler. I think you dont need to worry. There are many people who travel to Middle East without knowing Arabic. You can easily communicate in English. But, it would be better if you know Arabic. You will communicate better in the streets, taxis, bazaars and other places. It would be harder to cross over you. You can find a school in your country and learn basics. There are sites and CDs that provide help, but I dont like this way of learning foreign language, especially Arabic. I hope youll manage there.
