Not Satisfied with the Service in Singapore

I have to admit that I was not satisfied with the hotel service in Singapore. I was visiting that city for the first time and I stayed at Strand Hotel. The first thing I heard on the reception was a question whether I have money for a deposit. This angered me, well I sure was not thinking of staying for free. Anyway, this was just first of several bad situations I had to endure, so I will just say that you can find better hotels for the same price.

I have to agree that on some occasions, you just cannot know what to expect from the hotel, especially if it is not at least 4 star rated. I also had several situations that really made me think how would it be much better if I have saved some extra money and booked some great hotel. Anyway, once I was placed in the room next to the room with hotels generator. You could imagine how my nights were. And I could not even get to the manager, he was always unavailable.
