November Egypt/Jordan Trip

Hi everyone. I have some time off work in November. It looks like this will be the only chance for me and the family to have a decent holiday any time soon. We would like to go someplace sunny. We have already decided that it should be either Egypt or Jordan. Have you been to either or both of these countries? And which would you recommend?

The obvious answer is Egypt for a family holiday. This is a country where it is sunny and warm all year round. And besides, the whole economy is geared towards tourism, much more so than in Jordan! Sharm el Sheik, for instance, is a lovely holiday destination full of resorts!
