Hello folks! A friend of mine has visited Cape Town and he is impressed with this city. As I’m a passionate hiker, I was very surprised to learn that this city offers numerous hiking trails. As my vacation is approaching, I’m considering the idea of spending it there. What are your experiences with this city and have you checked out those hiking trails?

Hey there, fellow! I can tell you that Cape Town is one of the most beautiful cities in both Africa and South Africa. It is attractive in each possible way. Near the city there is this wonderful national park, Table Mountain, and there are excellent hiking trails. But that is not the only location where you can practice your favorite activity. The Cederberg Wilderness also boasts many picturesque and interesting paths and I suggest you to hire a good guide as there are numerous agencies offering such services and organizing trips and picnicking. It is of vital importance to follow certain rules of safety which you can find in a guide book.

South Africa is a phenomenal destination and I would recommend everybody to go there. I’m sure that there are locations which maybe offer better conditions and natural environment for hiking and trekking but the surrounding area of Cape Town vicinity is something so beautiful and colorful and it is great to go there as you can enjoy in various activities. I have heard that Table Mountain National Park offers breathtaking views on the city and I think that the nature in this park is exquisite. There is also a great variety of animal species, among which are African penguins and you can see some of them while hiking. So, I suggest you not to have second thoughts but to pack your bags and jump on the plane to Cape Town.
