Paris Metro muggers

Hello to you all! When in Paris, do you constantly have to watch your handbag without looking away for a second, when using the Metro? I heard they have some kind of organized gang operating, snatching bag and wallets. Apparently they can take off your watch without you even noticing! What are your thoughts on this, and how to protect you valuables?

You are exaggerating a bit I think. Paris is just like any other big city, and yes there are purse-snatchers out there. It is also quite possible that they operate in a gang, but to be honest I have never paid any special attention to my bag when in Paris. And I have never been mugged there, although I have been mugged TWICE in my hometown. Just a bit of common sense will do the trick I think.
