What a nuisance! Its raining again here in Queenstown, Tasmania. That will completely ruin my stay here. My plan has been to visit Cradle Mountain Lake St. Clair National Park and now I cant. What to do in Queenstown during a rainy day? Just dont suggest me sleeping or watching TV. I want some fun and I dont want to sit in my hotel room whole day.

As you know Queenstown is a mining town and though it is attractive to tourists there is not much to do indoors. There are not museums and similar facilities and in my opinion, since you cant do anything outdoors, the best and, maybe, the only thing to do is take one of driving tours. Youre in the car, protected from the rain and still youre sightseeing. You can even visit Cradle Mountain Lake St. Clair National Park because its one of the places along the tour. The tour starts in Queenstown and along the way you will visit several attractions. Besides already mentioned Cradle Mountain, youll see Rocky Cape National Park, Zeehan, Burnie and some others. The journey ends at Devonport.
