Restaurant Suggestions in Cancun?

I am going to Mexico. I will spend there 2 weeks. I will be settled in a hotel. I will have breakfast and dinner in a hotel. But I wont have lunch. So I will be forced to pay for lunch in hotel or in some restaurant. Does anybody have Restaurant Suggestions in Cancun? Thank you in advance.

You are going to Cancun? That is great! You made a really good choice. Cancun is a great place to spend vacation, or even just one weekend. I was there last year and I had marvelous time. So, now I suggest everybody to go there. You asked for restaurant suggestions in Cancun. Well, like you already said, you can always eat in a hotel. But I am sort of person that like to experiments. So I tried couple restaurants with national cuisine, and I ate a really good, tasty and quality food. And it is not very expensive. I liked to take food in some local fast food restaurants ( I love burritos) .

There's nothing "authentically Mexican" about Cancun.

There's this place called "Captain's Cove" (at least it was there about 4 years ago) -- nice setting on the water, and food was good.

If you go to the downtown Cancun area, you'll be able to find more "real" Mexican restaurants.
