Saudi Driving Licence based on US Licence

I am preparing for my trip to Saudi Arabia. Ill stay there for one month. Because it is business trip, I will need car. So, I am wondering if I can take Saudi Arabia licence based on my US licence. Is it necessary to take test or something like that? Thanks.

Hello. I was in Saudi Arabia last year. I had no trouble getting license. It is a simple formality. I went with Saudi to driver's licensing office. There I showed them my US license, and they gave me Saudi license. That lasts a couple of hours. But in the end everything finished perfectly. I can recommend you to take an International license, just in case. Cheers.
