Seattle to Alaska drive, any dangerous or sights to pay attention to?

Hi! Were going to Alaska soon. My wife has that terrible fear of flying and she insists we use our car. Well, I am a driver for more than ten years now, but Im not exactly comfortable with long rides. Can you help me with some information about the road dangers? Thanks.

I know how it is, I have the same fear of flying myself. Its just not human characteristic to fly But, nevertheless, instead of 3 hours youll be there in 4 days. The best thing you can do is to take the Cassiar Highway and than the Alaska Highway. And bring all the stuff with you. Theres just periodic rain and mud dangers. Youll be cautious, I hope.
