I am going to Italy this year for sure! I am tired of delaying this trip so I decided to cut the dragging story short, going to Rome! As we all know almost every part of Italy has some historical value, imagine how many things suppose to be seen in this city and its surrounding area. I would like to take some interesting sidetrip from Rome. Is there any sidetrip that you know about, and would you be kind to share info with me.

I think its the same thing with every capitol, usually surrounded with many attractions that would be a shame to miss. Rome is just one of them. You could visit tombs of Etruscans, Hadrians villa in Tivoli or beautiful baroque fountains in Villa dEste. These are just some of the suggestions for your sidetrip. And if you want to get beach and history putted in one experience, could go to see ruins of Ostia Antica, of course in Lido di Ostia. What ever you chose to see I dont think you will regret it.
