Solo female trip to Mexico?

Hi. I am a single female who loves travel. I have been to many places on my own already and this is the way I like it best. Now I am hoping to do Mexico. But some people have warned me that it might be dangerous and I am a bit worried about this I must say. I was hoping to go to Acapulco, Mexico City and Cancun. Any tips?

No problem, all the places you mention should be quite doable. But as always, do take a few precuationary measures. I always carry a little pocket knife with me, as well as a rape alarm that sings louder than any car alarm, just for the case that something might happen. Use your common sense and your intuition as well. And don't go hitch hiking or something silly like that. But I am sure you wouldn't anyway. Good luck and enjoy yourself.
