Summer trip to Colonia del Sacramento?

I have been waiting patiently for my summer vacation and I have to admit that these final days at work are more than annoying, not to mention the people I work with. Still, nothing will prevent me from having a great time on a summer trip to Colonia Del Sacramento! Has anyone been there? What do you think of the place?

I have to admit that you have picked a great place for a getaway from all those things that you would rather avoid but cannot, during a year. I also have to say that I was amazed by the looks of the old part of the place, cobblestoned streets with colorful houses with Barrio Historico, famous quarter I something that you will really enjoy among many other things there.
