I will be going to Australia next month, A friend of mine who went there a year ago has finally settled down, found a good apartment and a good job, so she can relax a bit. Anyway, she has already organized my stay there, which will even include Sidney Opera house visit. How exciting!

It is so great that you have a friend abroad that is willing to host you and be your guide for the time you will be staying there. That happened to me only once, when I was going to Geneva, my sister married there and I went to attend their wedding. I have to say that I really had a great time (including excessive consummation of alcohol on a wedding party), and I had extra money to spend since I did not have to pay anything for a stay or food.

The Sydney Opera House, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, sits at the edge of Sydney Harbour in Sydney Australia. The unique structure, designed in 1973 by Danish architect Jorn Utzon, is the home of Opera Australia, the Sydney Symphony and the Sydney National Theatre Company. In addition, the five-theater complex hosts regular ballet, theater and musical performances.
