Syria, Jordan, Israel suggestions

Dear everyone, I am a born again Christian and am thinking of visiting Syria, Israel and Jordan in the near future. The focus would be the Old and the New Testaments. I suppose that I should start with Syria and Jordan to avoid any passport problems. But is there anything else I should be aware of?

Yes I do! I can very well understand your curiosity for this region, so important for two of the world's great monotheistic faiths. But I wonder whether you aren't overlooking the curent political situation. and the security implications deriving form it. Abductions, suicide bombs, retaliatory raides, totalitarion regimes, all this hardly contributes to making for a peaceful and focussed visit. I would give it a wait if I were you.
