My boyfriend of one year and I went to Tahiti this summer. Neither of us are ready to get married for a long time to come, but we both thought that the place was so romantic for honeymooners! It provides the perfect mix of activities and relaxation, with plenty of opportunity for romanic dinners, followed by romantic walks... Perhaps an idea for some of you?

We are planning on actually getting married on an exotic island. Not least because we don't want any of the family there (we don't have very good contacts with them), and we want to turn the wedding into an occasion for just the two of us. Perhaps Tahiti would also be a good choice for that?

Are you sure you are not ready to get married, or at least dreaming about it, what with all that talk about romantic walks and honeymoons? I think that that's exactly the first step on the road of tying the knot! I thought Tahiti was a bit too urban for a honeymoon myself, but then we only went to Papeete.
