I am going with my wife to Buenos Aires this summer. We like Tango very much, and we would like to see some of it while were there. Can anyone tell us about the Tango shows in the city and what are good places for the start? Any kind of information would be very useful to us. Thanks in advance.

Tango in Buenos Aires - is there anything better for those who really enjoy this dance? I suppose not, and I can tell you that the capitol of Argentina is simply the best place in the world to watch the Tango shows. Almost anywhere you go, you will certainly not regret. There is simply no bad show, because Tango is for Argentinians more than just a dance. However, as far as you are concerned, there are two good places to start your experience of Tango. First, if you like casual ambient, go to Colon and have a very pleasant dinner with Tango show. The prices are ridiculously low. Also, if you like a bit more intense ambient, go to cafe Tortoni. Both places are excellent for the start.
