To New Zealand - Fly or Ferry?

I am going to New Zealand in 3 weeks. I planned my stay there. But I am not able to decide how should I travel. So I need your advices and suggestions. Should I go to the New Zealand with fly or ferry. I dont know which way is better. So share your experiences with me. Thank you in advance.

It is great that you are going to New Zealand. It is miraculous country that gets under your skin the moment you arrive there. You asked should you fly or use ferry to arrive to New Zealand. It depends of you and your stomach. If you have seasick, and you dont like to travel, and you would like to arrive there as fast as it is possible than it is better to fly. But in my opinion ferries are much better. Yes, traveling is slower. But it is more beautiful. You can enjoy sea air. And arriving to the New Zealand is wonderful . The land looks magical from the moment you see it for the first time when you are far away, till the moment you set your foot on the ground. So I suggest you to travel with ferry.
