Treasurable Sight seeing in Egypt?

This summer Im going to spend my vacation in Egypt, and Id like to make the most of it. The problem is that I always make the same mistake and start my journey without a plan which usually means spending the whole vacation without seeing the local sights and landmarks. What are treasurable sights and locations in Egypt that are must-see?

In a country like Egypt there are plenty of places to see and ways to spend your time. Start with sightseeing of Cairo, its capital, which is like a historical monument itself. Then, dont miss a wild ride in a 4X4 through the desert which will raise your adrenaline or if its too much excitement for you, try a slow ride on a camels back. There are also organized trips to diving sites in the Red Sea, where you can enjoy snorkeling in crystal clear water observing colorful fish species and plants. And of course, it would be a shame not to visit the pyramids, the Sphinx and the Nile, as well as, Luxor Temple with monumental statues of Ramesses II.
