I have been planning to go on a holiday this October. It seems to me that it is a good idea to go trekking to the Everest base camp. It seems like a real good and attractive choice. However, as I have never been there before, I would like to hear some suggestions about whether it is really a good idea. Thanks in advance.

I think you have probably chosen the most fantastic destination you could as a common tourist! I have been last year trekking to the base camp and I can tell you I can still remember every day of it like it was yesterday. The scenic views and breathtaking landscapes are something that will stay in you for as long as you live. It is quite hard route, that's for sure, but, believe me, it is more than worth it, it is an invaluable experience. October is also a good month for something like that, as that is one of the last terms before it gets really cold out there, and too cold for the regular tourists. That said, I can only encourage you to do that as you will certainly enjoy. Go to http://www.worldexpeditions.com/au/
