Typical Malay villages on Penang Island

We have just spent a whole month traveling around Malaysia. I really needed that! I really got the chance to recharge my batteries completely and see all kinds of things that I would never have seen otherwise. If you can, go to Penang Island where you can see typical Malay villages!

We would like to go to Malaysia sometime next year, but would like to do one of those eco holiday packages that you hear so much about. What you did sounds a bit like that too. Can you tell me more about what you saw and did, and whether you booked or organised the whole trip yourself?

That sounds really wonderful! Getting the chance really see the culture of a place, and how people live in traditional ways is very much worth it, I think!
