I want to go to Victoria Island, Canada. It will be on the route during my travels and some of my friends have been. Every one of them said it was worth visiting. Did you think so too and what should I go and see there? Your tips are appreciated!! Good bye and thanks.

Hello, I have lived there for a short while and had a lovely time. The views are beautiful everywhere, and the people are very friendly in my experience. The harbor, and many historic buildings are well worth a visit. The gardens are awesome. You wont regret going there. Have fun!

Hi, a have some friends that live in Canada, and they have visited Victoria Island two or three years ago. The went in May, I think, and they said that they had a really good and sunny vacation. One thing that they liked the most where the gardens. They said that they have many different gardens, like The Butchart Gardens, where you can see many flowers and fountains. You also can see Butterfly Gardens. Here they say you can see hundreds of exotic butterfly's. And they have mentioned one more garden, it called Hatley Park Public Gardens. This is, as I understood, located at the university and it surrounded by forest.

Of course you have many other thing, and hope someone here knows more good places in Victoria Island?!

Victoria Island is an island in the Canadian Arctic Archipelago and straddles the boundary between Nunavut and the Northwest Territories of Canada. It is the eighth largest island in the world, and at 217,291 km2 (83,897 sq mi) is Canada's second largest island and nearly double the size of Newfoundland (111,390 km2 (43,008 sq mi) or slightly larger than the island of Great Britain (209,331 km2 (80,823 sq mi). The western third of the island belongs to the Inuvik Region in the Northwest Territories and the remainder is part of Nunavut's Kitikmeot Region.

Hy, I'm interested have you ever been there? How's it like?
I would really like to go but I don't have time.
I have to put it in my calendar next year for sure.

Cheers
