What are Top 5 star hotel recommendations for Rio? This is my first vacation after long time. So, I would like everything to be the best for me. I want to travel like royalty. But I need your help. I haven’t been to Rio before. So, I don’t know what the best hotels there are. I would really appreciate any advice that I can get. Thank you in advance.

I am sorry but I must give one comment. I understand that people like to travel in the first class, that they like the best hotels and the best service .But there is one thing with Rio. It is the place where you will spend most time wondering the streets, lying on the sun, and having great time. You room will be the last place where you will go. Your room will be something like big closet. You will only keep your things there, trust me. I agree that you will have to have good room. But it doesn’t have to be in the top 5 hotels there. That would be only he waste of money, trust me. It is better to spend that money there on something useful.

I can recommend Rio Sagrado Hotel. It was a geat hotel.

We spent 2 nights at this newly opened 5 star hotel. It was by far the best hotel that we stayed in on our Peru tour.

The gardens were beautiful and well established, sweeping down to the river, dotted with water features. Our room was magnificent, very large with a picture window looking down to the river. The decor was very stylish and tasteful. The lighting was really great.

The bathroom was out of this world, marble tops and floor, although no bath there was a very large walk in rain shower with a view! All the fixtures and fittings were of the highest quality, bathrobes, slippers, and beautiful large white fluffy towels.

We were on bed breakfast and evening meal plan. The breakfast was buffet style with hot food, eggs etc cooked to order. The evening meal was of a very high standard and beautifully presented.

Spa, indoor and outdoor was very relaxing, there is also a steam room. The grounds are dotted with sun loungers.

The staff were very attentive without being intrusive.

This is a wonderful hotel, no expense has been spared, it was a real priviledge to stay here.
