I am thinking about going to Scotland during my week off next month. It would be fun to see a new place, and Scotland is one place I have never been to before! Are there any of you here who could tell me what are the main attractions to visit in Scotland?

The only part of Scotland I have seen properly was Edinburgh. I loved the city and there is a lot to do and see over there, whatever you taste is! Most of the city centre is a UNESCO World Heritage site, so that should tell you enough about its beauty. You should of course go and see the Castle there, and Holyrood Palace. But there are also great shopping areas in Edinburgh, and it becomes a fun and lively city at night!

How about the Loch Ness monster? That's probably the most famous attraction in the whole of Scotland. The area is stunning with the most beautiful and wild nature anywhere in the UK. And who knows, you may even get to spot the monster! If not, you will still have a great time though!
