What's CR at Xmas like?

I am going to Costa Rica for Christmas. I have never been there before. To be there truthful, I haven’t been anywhere during some big holiday like that. I am interested to find out What's CR at Xmas like? Is it a good move to go there during that big holiday. I would really appreciate your opinions about this topic.

I really don’t think that it is a nice idea to go somewhere during the Christmas. For me that is big holiday, that you should celebrate with your family. Maybe some people wouldn’t agree with me. But that is my opinion about this things. My sister was there during Christmas. She said that she had really good time. And that it is very good idea to go to some foreign country, during some big celebration. That way you can see the differences in culture, and heritage. But like you see I wouldn’t do something like that. But I am sure that you will have nice time there.
