What's Rio Weather like in April?

I have been planning to go on a holiday this April. It seems to me that it is a good idea to go to Rio. It looks like a really good and attractive choice. However, as I have never been there before, I would like to hear some suggestions about what the weather is like that time of the year. Thanks in advance.

Rio is one of the most amazing cities in South America. I can easily say it is one of the most beautiful cities I have ever visited, and I have been to many. There are plenty of things to be seen and done there. Nightlife
is very good and people are very friendly. Also, the food there is excellent and it has very peculiar southern charm you will instantly like. When it comes to weather, I do not think you have anything to worry about, as climate is very mild and even though April is mid-Fall there. There is not much raining and temperatures are around 20 degrees. In any case, there is nothing that should deter you from visiting magnificent Rio.

Well in April in Brazil (and Rio) you have few holidays. First one is Good Friday, than you have a a Easter Sunday, that fallows Good Friday, and last holiday in April is Tiradentes Day. Tiradentes Day is a commemoration of execution of Brazil nation hero, Joaquim Jose da Silva Xavier.
Well if you even do not have a good weather, you will have a great time, because people there are very friendly, especially during they holidays.

Well in Rio on this months we have a the winter, but the brazilian winter is not cold like in north america or europe, is more hot than summer in some places in there. And the weather used to be a little bit rainy, but not to much, i can say that is good to go there in this season cause the prices is low and the city is not to crowded as the other seasons.
