What's Trinidad like during Carnival?

I am going to the Trinidad, and my agent told me that in that time there will be carnival there. Now, I am very excited, because I always wanted to go to some carnival. What's Trinidad like during Carnival? Should I bring some special close, or costume or something like that? Please help me.

That wonderful mood that people there have is contagious. You can bring some colorful clothes, and make up, or some mask. You can wear what ever you want, and nobody will look you across.
