What's Zurich like in Summer?

I know this what I am about to tell you will in a way maybe sound a bit strange. I am this summer going to Switzerland. Why I said strange, in general this country is being most popular in winter period of the year, right? Maybe I am wrong, having prejudice because it is a one of the Alps country. Back to the subject, I will be most of the time stationed in Zurich, so I wonder how that city looks like during the summer.

For sure it is well known for mountains so people assume that winter period and possibly skiing are the things which are representing this country in the best way. Probably true, but one thing is obviously forgotten, Switzerland has a beautiful nature that blooms in spring and reaches its peak in the summer. In Zrich you could have a nice relaxing day in one of the parks or gardens; Bcker Park, Belvior Park, Chinese garden are just three from the long list. You even maybe could have a small boat trip on Zrich Lake. With the average temperature of 20C - 24C, I think in summer Zrich is great town for relaxing. And while you are there, just to warn you dont miss to see chocolate factory.

Yes, mostly tourists prefer to travel in winter but summer is also the good time for enjoying the vacation. In summer the weather is very pleasant for sightseeing. The average temperature is in the mid of June, July and August is 20ºC. Zurich temperatures rarely go as high as 30º.
Not so many events but some will held in July which are Zürich Festival, Caliente festival tropical and Züri Fäscht town festival with firework display.
I’d like to suggest travelers to take a journey towards there and make your tour memorable.
