Good evening, people. I have just got a job offer which is very attractive. However, the job is in Abu Dhabi. It is far from my home and my family and friends. I dont even know how living there likes. I hope that someone can help me here with their comments. I prefer to hear from those who lived there for some time. Thanks, folks.

Hello, there. Ive been living in Abu Dhabi since 2001 and I like my life here. Only 10 of the population are locals, others are foreigners, so I think you dont have to be afraid of xenophobia here. I suggest you to take light, cotton clothes, because temperatures from April to October can be pretty high. You dont need to cover yourself, but maybe it is better not to wear extremely short skirts and T-shirts. You havent mentioned if you have children. Here, you can find some good American schools where they can attend. However, considering college, maybe it is better to attend it at home. Emirates are peaceful country and for now you cant sense the reflection from happening in other parts of Middle East. If the distance from your country doesnt concern you, then I would advise you to take the job. Life in Abu Dhabi can be really nice.
