I am going to be in Graz next week and I have still got a few questions about the local transport system. I heard that they have got trams over there, and that sounds like the perfect way of getting around. Do you know where in Graz I can buy tickets for the tram?

Inside the tram itself. Just ask the driver for a ticket and you will be able to buy one. That is what I did, and I never had any problems. I think that you can also buy a week card, but I am not sure as I didn't try. Tram lines are well developed in Graz and you will find you are able to get almost anywhere by tram.

Like anywhere else in the world where they have public transports, you can buy a set of tickets at kiosks and in little shops and so on. Indeed, you can also buy tickets in the tram. But for a week or month card you will need to head for the kiosk. If you are caught without a ticket fines are on the sharp side. This happened to my friend and he was NOT HAPPY!
