Where can you eat cheap in HKG?

Im going to Hong Kong for one week as part of a wider trip to Asia. I dont want too be spending too much money on food as I am on a budget and should not spend all my money before I get more my over by Western Union. So please, where can I get a cheap meal and still get a great feel of Hong Kong?

In many places in the world that can be a real problem, I know . But dont panic you have come to the right part of the world for this kind of thing. In Hong Kong there are noodle bars on every street corner. They do great big portions and the food is very good. You really get lots for a very reasonable price. It is mostly rice or noodles with different vegetables and meat, but some also do soups and deserts.

Seafood is a must in Hong Kong. Search chowhound for some recs for some good seafood. Seafood is always good in HK.

If you are up to roasted pigeon, you should go to Tai Ping Koon. There is one in Wanchai, and the better one in Yau Ma Tai, but it can be heard to find.
