Where can you save money during alaska trip! Cheaper things to do/see?

Hi! Ive heard a lot about Alaska, but all of those informations were a bit scary to me. Youll need to rent a small bout for this, and youll need to rent a small plane for that. And Im wondering if theres something cheaper to do or see. Can you help me with cheaper solutions? Thanks.

Of course there are cheaper things to see, dont worry. You can always try state fair, or take the walk to downtown of Anchorage, look at the harbor. Or you can take the train and visit some small but beautiful towns near by. Hiking and camping are good solutions, too. And believe me, if you choose to travel north you can never go tired of watching the Northern lights.
