Where did you stay in Chiang Mai?

Dear all. Me and the family are off to Thailand and we will be staying in Chiang Mai for a week. We are absolutely looking forward to it. We have seen how very stunning the place is and I am hoping that it will be as good or better in reality, as on the pictures! We have only one problem. We need someone to recommend us a nice hotel. Have you been there and can you tell me where tou stayed in Chiang Mai? Thanks ever so much.

Hi. We stayed at the Chiang Mai Gate Hotel. This was lovely, and even more so as it is completely decored in the traditional Thai manner. We thought there was little point in staying in a Thistle or the like, which looks the same in Thailand, London, New York... or anywhere else in the world!!! Look it up and I am sure you will see what I mean. Chiang Mai is gorgeous and I am pretty sure you will have the time of your lives while there! Kiss.

I used to stay at Chiang Mai Orchid Hotel. this hotel is very good and comfortable

have a look at the p&p resort in chaweng beach right in the middle of chawaeg and on the beach, it's a really good hotel and all the rooms are bungalows, so you can take guests back no prob, it was 1000 baht a night and had air-con, fan, fridge, safe in room, bathroom with hot shower and most importand a big **** bed. well worth the money and no need for taxis. http://www.travelfish.org/accommodat...7/1398/7?ord=0
