Where in Europe during winter time?

My big wish is to go somewhere to Europe for a winter holiday. I already managed to talk some of my friends into joining me in this ‘adventure’, and now all we need is a good location where we could, for example, rent a cottage. Is there anyone with a good suggestion about where in Europe we could do that?

Well, for me, Switzerland is the destination with which you cannot make a mistake if you choose it for your winter holiday. The prices vary, depending on the exact place that you would like to stay at, but I am sure you will be able to find some nice cottage for rent, and have a great time.
