Where is the best to stay in the Arenal area?

I would like to go to Costa Rica this year, and I am thinking to see Arenal area. I must say this is my first trip there so I have no idea what to look for there and what to expect. For start I would like to get info where is the best place for me to stay in Arenal area?

I guess you should go to La Fortuna or maybe 10 km northeast of La Fortuna and stay in Arenal Kioro hotel, because it has the best view of the volcano. Service is great and stuff is pleasant and friendly. Restaurants filled with great meals, so could you ask for anything more?! I guess just hope volcano to be silent.
