My husband and I are going to meet few friends in India. We will spend two weeks there and then, the third week we will go to Pakistan and see as much as possible there. Naturally, I would like to buy something for myself and my husband. Can someone tell me where to buy nice jewelry in Murree, Pakistan?

There are many handicraft shops where you can by many things that will remind you of your visit to this place. My wife is an expert on this matter. I spent my time looking around while she explored the local shops and found that there are interesting jewelry items, carved walking sticks, traditional clothing items, head wear, and leather goods.

I also suggest you visit some of the local restaurants situated along the Mall like Al-mai-dah. On top of that you may want to try Red Onion Chain of Restaurants located on the main mall road. They were the first ones to introduce “buy one pizza and get second one free”. You can taste a wide variety of international dishes and try Chinese, Pakistani and Continental, Italian or Mexican cuisine.
