Where to find good French restaurant in Vancouver?

Where can I find a good French restaurant in Vancouver? I will be traveling to Canada for the first time, and staying in this wonderful city for a week or so. Since my girlfriend who will be going there with me loves French cuisine, I would like to take her somewhere special. Any ideas? The price is not an issue at all

I think that you should take her to Le Crocodile than. This is the restaurant which now celebrates 22 years of work, in its full splendor. The chief used to work in Au Crocodile in Strasbourg, and 22 years ago he opened his own restaurant in Vancouver, with the same menu and the level of service which the French restaurant has. The meals are absolutely fantastic, and the staff is so well mannered. The place is quite romantic also, so you can really have a intimate diner there. They also serve fantastic wine, and the staff is willing to help you choose the best wine depending on your meal.

Bacchus is the great French restaurant in Vancouver. I have been there almost one year before.

Service was impeccable. Menu was imaginative. Food was artistically-presented and tasty. The wine list was appropriate with a nice selection at all levels of affordability, and service was personal and friendly. Piano player was the perfect accompaniment, and the music selection was eclectic enough to please all. It added to the ambience of an already very nice dining room.

I think that you should take your girlfriend to Bacchus. Hope she will enjoy the meal.
