Where to stay for two weeks in Silver Mountain Resort?

Few of my friends and I are planning to spend our vacation in Silver Mountain Resort. We were planning to spend two weeks there. Neither of us has ever been there, so we could use some advice. Most urgently, where to stay for two weeks in Silver Mountain Resort? Thanks.

You best option would be Morning Star Lodge, at the resort. This way you will avoid any driving, as you can go straight to the gondola and to the trails. And it’s a very nice place, with condos and two bedroom apartments, which are very spacious. There are also fully equipped kitchens in every room.

If you don’t mind driving a bit, I would recommend renting a house in Ketchum. There are plenty of them available for much less money then anything in Gondola Village. And the roads are great, you just stay on I-90 all the way. There are no mountain roads to worry about, as you actually go up to the mountain in gondola.

It all comes down to money, actually. If you can afford it, go to the Gondola Village. It is kind of weird being on skiing holiday, and not actually staying on the mountain. If you are on the budget, stay at Ketchum. The drive isn’t that hard and the roads are always clean.
