Where to stay in Dhahran?

Is there anyone with a good recommendation on where I should stay in Dhahran because I would like to spend a weekend there with my girlfriend, and since neither of us has been there before, all the hotels are pretty much equally unknown to us? So, can anyone give us a good recommendation?

Don’t get me wrong because of this, but are you sure that it is worth all the trouble and everything just because of the weekend there? I mean, wouldn’t it be better if you at least spent there an extended weekend, because two days are really too little a time in my opinion?

My advice (based on personal experience and impressions) would be to choose this Dhahran International Hotel, because it is one of the better hotels that I stayed at in Dhahran. On the other side, I could as well advise you which hotels to avoid, but I guess that it would not be fair.
