Where to stay in Oslo?

Hi. I am off to Oslo at the end of the week and still have not found myself a hotel... terrible! So I need your help and quickly! I don't know if you have ever been to this city and can recommend me someplace decent. It does not have to have five stars or anything but a bit of basic luxury would be nice. Thanks so much.

I don't know whether location is important to you and if so, how much, but as you do not mention anything I am assuming that you do not mind being a bit further out of the city. Personally I always prefer that anyway. I like the Comfort Majorstuen Hotel which is situated in the Majorstuen part of the city. Hurry up and book I would say.
